The Real Axis of Evil: A Muslim world Civilization Initiative taking shape

Having long experience of West’s domination generally and of about seventy years of the existence of Israel, the Muslim world has remained a backyard of the West. When direct occupations had gone after what they call Second World War (in fact a European war), even independences did not change the situation. Those of us who are old have sufficient experience of the latter phase. And I am one of them.

Leaving aside those Muslim leaders who remained in line, there were those who murmured, now and then, and those who practically opposed the domination as far as their wisdom and capabilities went. Apparently, nothing changed.

But History never stops work and that too in the right direction. And that is how the consequences of human wrong doings continued to be getting eliminated from the face of the earth. History is careful in retaining whatever good happens even during such wrong doings.

Now if we look at the present situation of the Muslim world, pessimism is likely to overwhelm us. As if so many projects of the West – Palestine, Nine-eleven, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Pakistan, Yemen, Kurds, and so on – to sow discord, alienate people from their motherlands, disintegrate societies, impose civil wars with the ultimate aim to keep them under subjugation were not enough, lately, they have assigned Saudi Arabia a new ‘Shia-Sunni’ mission.

Today, the West, the so-called ‘Civilized World’, the ‘International Community’ the ‘Free World’, the ‘Developed World’, the ‘Democratic World’ and what not stands exposed in front of all the good people of the world, be they Muslims, Christians, Jews or others. Therefore ‘Iran, Iraq, and North Korea’ were NOT the ‘axis of evil’ as George W. Bush, the Christian Zionist and the liar declared on January 29, 2002. On the contrary, we declare on the basis of historical facts witnessed by the whole world that Israel and Zionists anywhere, whether Jewish or Christian, are collectively the ‘Real Axis of Evil’. They have undermined civilization. They have put humanity backward, how far, it is anybody’s guess.

Any honest observer of the world affairs having a passion for life and humanity finds himself bewildered. He finds that the West had always been setting the agenda to which others had had to respond. And there had always been some underlying mischief in any of their agendas. And what had been their goal? To what end the world they thought should have followed them? Can any honest man or woman belonging to any faith or country in the whole world deny that whatever the pretext, what they really always wanted was the absolute and unconditional domination of the whole world?

From Australia to Canada they always operated together, why? No question of right or wrong but always wrong, even then why all of them always supported Israel? What was good for the world in this? If there was any wisdom in that, the world never listened anything from them. Why they were always against Russia and China? Why they always tried to sow discord not only between India and Russia but between India and China and between India and Pakistan too?

Why America developed atom bomb in the first place? And why they used it against Japan? Why they continued to add more and more nuclear weapons to their arsenals quantitatively or qualitatively or in both ways ever since? And then why they have been preaching others and in these days North Korea especially to ‘denuclearize’?

The world learnt all these and other lessons, some earlier some later, and tried to come out of this unacceptable situation. Collectively, the Muslim world had been no exception. But now, at last, we have the good news.

It is interesting to note how things in these days are quite visibly moving in the Middle East to their right places. And by this I mean blunting Western aggression for now and finally incapacitate the West on this score.

As I write, 14 April, they have attacked Syria once more. According to BBC: The US, UK and France have bombed multiple government targets in Syria in an early morning operation targeting alleged chemical weapons sites. The strikes were in response to a suspected chemical attack on the Syrian town of Douma last week. “The nations of Britain, France, and the United States of America have marshalled their righteous power against barbarism and brutality,” US President Donald Trump said in an address from the White House.

Last year the US struck President Assad’s Shayrat airbase in retaliation for the use of chemical weapons in Khan Sheikhoun. In 2013 President Obama claimed he would uphold that taboo as a “red line”, but then didn’t, because ‘Obama remained convinced a military intervention would be a costly failure.’ This time as the US and UK governments were considering their potential response to the suspected chemical weapons attack in Douma in Syria, Professor Michael Clarke (BBC 12-04-2018) questioned: ‘What could military intervention achieve?’

And Professor Michael Clarke further observed:

  1. Beyond that, some argue effective military action would represent an acceptance that Western powers have got to get back into the game of Middle East politics at a time when the region is melting down.
  2. The campaign against so-called Islamic State (IS) was always a geopolitical sideshow, and Western influence on what has been happening from Lebanon to the Yemen has been in steep decline.
  3. Of course, it is tempting, and understandable, for Western leaders to want to leave it all alone. But while they took their eye off the ball fighting IS, the future of the area was being determined by Iran, Russia and partly also by Turkey.

Now Professor Michael Clarke is a senior research fellow at the Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies (Rusi), and associate director of the Strategic Studies Institute and their own scholar. What is getting ‘back into the game of Middle East politics’; ‘campaign against Islamic State (IS) a geopolitical sideshow’; and ‘the future of the area being determined by Iran, Russia and partly also by Turkey’?

What all this mean practically today on the ground?

When the attack did happen, strangely there were no Syrian or Russian casualties. And then the attackers were quick to tell that the attack was one time affair and had ended and that it was not against President Assad and that they did not want regime change, etc. The question is why were they so ‘caring’ and ‘friendly’?

The sum total is that they are on their way out of the Middle East. They are reaping the fruits of their Nine-Eleven and ‘War on Terror’. When they attacked Iraq in 2003, I wrote: ‘If not meter by meter or centimeter by centimeter, at least millimeter by millimeter, but surely and definitely, the position of the Zionists from under their feet is getting eroded.’ Now, fifteen years after their attack, I observe that, practically, they are on their way out of the Middle East.

The question is who was their adversary during all their onslaughts and aggression against the Muslim world? Obviously the Muslim world. Not always their governments, but the people all over the Muslim world were in one way or the other under attack. But that was not all. All men of conscience all over the world always felt the pain.

How otherwise between six and eleven million people, according to BBC NEWS taking part in protests in up to sixty countries over the weekend of 15 and 16 February 2003 or the biggest anti-war rally in London, the largest political demonstration in the city’s history, could be explained except by the simple and truthful explanation that Civilization itself was under Western attack?

That they had attacked Civilization itself, its practical proof is now wide open and visible in the struggle for PEACE going on in the Middle East – the heart of the Muslim world.

AFP reported from Teheran: Iran, Iraq, Syria and Russia held a meeting in Baghdad on Thursday (19-04-2018) of military and security officials to coordinate “anti-terrorism” efforts, the Iranian defence ministry said. “Cooperation in intelligence between the four countries for common aims and anti-terrorism missions has been successful in restoring stability and security, and it should form the basis for further cooperation.” Defence Minister General Amir Hatami said in a statement from the Iraqi capital.

And again, the same day, AFP reported from Berlin: About 500 law-makers from Germany, France and Britain urged the US Congress to support the Iran nuclear deal which President Donald Trump had threatened to abandon. “It is he US’s and Europe’s interest to prevent nuclear proliferation in a volatile region and to maintain transatlantic partnership as a reliable and credible driving force of world politics.”

Where are Israel and Zionists whether Jewish or Christian the ‘Real Axis of Evil’ just after 15 years of their successful manipulation of the Christian world and instigating them to attack the Muslim world?

Having confronted all this with the support of all good people of the world, the struggle is inevitably taking a shape of a historic Muslim world Civilization Initiative. I am writing this from Lahore and we in Pakistan are getting into shape to join this perhaps the greatest human initiative for PEACE and CIVILIZATION on this earth, inshaallah. (Lahore 22-04-2018) ■
